About Us

Twila Taylor’s pound cakes are premium, gourmet, made-from-scratch pound cakes that are so delicious they are good to “the last crumb”… Her cakes are made just like her mother taught her to bake. Twila’s own recipes were perfected with her mother’s help, combining all natural ingredients with her unique flavor layering effect to achieve a rich, scrumptious flavor in all varieties. Just one bite of her delicious cakes takes you back to when you were a kid and your Mom served strawberries on pound cake for a special occasion dessert. This is not your grocery store’s pound cake.

Twila was raised in western Pennsylvania, where she earned her BA degree from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been baking cakes for 20 years, and is constantly creating new unique and delicious cakes for your enjoyment.Twila believes in supporting her community and that is why she gives 10% of her earnings back to the local community. Twila resides in Maryland with husband and 2 lovely children.
